Control board approves county’s four-year fiscal plan

The Erie County Fiscal Stability Authority voted unanimously at a brief meeting Tuesday to approve the county’s proposed 2015 budget and four-year financial plan, characterizing them as “reasonable and balanced.”

The control board also adopted a resolution to maintain its “advisory” status for the coming year.

County Executive Mark Poloncarz praised the board for its affirmation and noted that “Erie County’s finances are stronger than they’ve been in many years.”
