NIAGARA FALLS – An unidentified Niagara Falls man was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center Sunday night after being stabbed in the chest.
Police were called to 71st Street and Lindbergh Avenue where the 25-year-old victim was found conscious on the sidewalk. Police said his breathing was labored and he appeared to be in tremendous pain.
He told police that at 7:15 p.m. two men approached him as he was walking south in the 500 block of 71st Street, stabbed him and then fled. A puncture wound was found on the left side of the chest. The victim was unable to give any description of the attackers.
The victim had called his ex-girlfriend to tell her about the stabbing and she contacted police.
The victim’s condition was not available.
