Elect those who support full equality for women
As the election season heats up, the posturing of candidates who oppose the full 10 points of the Women’s Equality Act is outrageous. Nine points are not enough to reflect the reality and the complexity of women’s lives.
In Buffalo, the incumbents or candidates who fully support the Women’s Equality Act believe a woman knows what is best for her situation and trust she is capable of making her own decisions. They are Senate candidates Elaine Altman and Marc Panepinto; Sen. Tim Kennedy; Assembly Members Crystal Peoples-Stokes and Sean Ryan; Assembly candidate Steven Meyer; Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Lt. Gov. Candidate Kathy Hochul.
On Nov. 4, support these individuals who will stand up for the full equality of women.
When you get mailings from candidates saying they support nine points, beware of their sham posturing about equality! To view a candidate’s actual voting record, go to: http://ppactionvoterguide.org/.
