A 24-year-old Darien Center man was arrested Sunday by State Police after he was chased during a burglary-in-progress call at a home on Main Street in Clarence.
Casey L. Lafleur was charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief for allegedly entering the unlocked enclosed porch of the Clarence residence and then damaging the front door. He allegedly fled as state police cars converged on the scene. He faces further proceedings in Clarence Town Court. He was released without bail. Nothing was stolen from the residence, according to state police.
