Buffalo man charged with speeding on the Kensington Expressway

A 35-year-old Buffalo man who allegedly drove around 75 mph on a 55 mph section of the Kensington Expressway in Cheektowaga was arrested by state troopers Friday, the State Police reported Monday.

Raymond Johnson was charged with speeding, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated. State police said a blood-alcohol test showed it was 0.09 percent, just over the 0.08 percent legal limit. He faces Cheektowaga Town Court proceedings next week.
