A year in jail for Lockport man in cocaine case

LOCKPORT – A Lockport man who had nearly three-quarters of an ounce of cocaine with him with police stopped his car Jan. 21 was sentenced to a year in the Niagara County Jail Monday by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.

Christopher G. Richardson, 41, of Trowbridge Street, had pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempted fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The arrest occurred in the City of Lockport.
