Robbers attack resident of Lemon Street home

One person was attacked and robbed when two armed bandits raided a home in Buffalo’s Fruit Belt neighborhood, Central District police said.

The two males with handguns knocked on the front door of a home in the 100-block of Lemon Street just before 1 p.m. and forced their way inside, police said.

Once inside, one of the bandits – described as 5-foot-9, about 19 years old and wearing a dark coat – struck a resident twice with a gun and took his wallet containing $200 and identification cards, police said.
