Police probe threat to woman who complained about loud party of NU students

NIAGARA FALLS – A DeVeaux-area woman told police she was threatened early Saturday after calling police to report a loud college party at a Garrett Avenue address.

Police said officers visited the residence three times late Friday over a three-hour period, finally sending 20 to 30 people partyers on their way about midnight. However, the neighbor reported several students returned to the home minutes after the first police intervention, and said she was threatened by a man who parked over her driveway about 12:30 a.m.

Police said they plan to contact Niagara University officials about the continuing problem with loud parties and disruptive students in the neighborhood.
