A 51-year-old man was missing late Saturday, after a daytime search that included the Buffalo River.
Timothy Borden, of Watson Street, was last seen about 10:30 p.m. Friday. A passerby found his red Adidas jacket and wallet near the Bailey Avenue bridge Saturday morning and called his family.
Buffalo police were alerted, and the underwater recovery team searched the river for about four hours but did not locate him.
He is described as a black male, 6 feet tall and about 140 pounds. Borden was last seen wearing black sweat pants, a black hoodie and the Adidas jacket that was recovered. Borden was cognitively impaired by a stroke.
There was no new information on the search for him late Saturday. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police.
