Thomas F. Tracey, accountant, Boy Scout leader

Thomas F. Tracey, an accountant who was active in the Lockport community, died Wednesday in Buffalo General Hospital. He was 54.

Born in Lockport, he graduated from DeSales High School in 1978 and Niagara University in 1982.

Mr. Tracey was a managing partner at DiVita and Tracey CPA in Amherst. He was a member of Niagara Area Business Exchange, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Lockport Council Knights of Columbus.

He served as the advancement chairman of Boy Scouts Troop 4 and was the treasurer of Lockport’s Palace Theater.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Jolene Parada, who died on Aug. 7.

He is survived by a son, Matthew P.; his mother, Virginia; and a brother, Brian.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
