Malone, Maher among clergy to attend Catholic school dinner

NIAGARA FALLS – Bishop Richard J. Malone of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo and Rev. James J. Maher, president of Niagara University, are among the Catholic clergy scheduled to a attend a dinner Monday night honoring those who support Catholic education in Niagara County.

The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Antonio’s Banquet Center, 7708 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls.

Also attending will be Rev. Robert S. Hughson, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Niagara Falls, and Rev. Richard A. Csizmar of Holy Family Catholic Church, Albion.

Amanda Konopa, director of admissions and public relations at Niagara Catholic High School, said awards will be presented to James and Patricia Catanese, owners of Mom’s Family Restaurant; Falls jewelry store owner George D. Edwards and his wife, Katherine; Chuck Marra and James Allen.
