LOCKPORT – A Buffalo man pleaded not guilty in State Supreme Court Friday to an indictment charging him with selling heroin to an agent of the Niagara County Drug Task Force on May 28 in North Tonawanda.
Luis M. Garcia, 30, of Niagara Street, is charged with third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. The alleged transaction was recorded on audio tape, Assistant District Attorney Heather A. Sloma said.
In another State Supreme Court case Friday, an 18-year-old Gasport girl, one of three teenagers who pleaded guilty to entering an apartment on Lock Street in Lockport and robbing the resident on March 29, was granted youthful offender status and sentenced to five years’ probation and 240 hours of community service. The girl lived on Hawley Street in Lockport at the time of the crime.
