Christie Sims and Steven Seedhouse were married at noon July 19 in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Williamsville. Guests gathered for a reception at Brookfield Country Club, Williamsville. The Rev. Leon J. Biernat, of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Mark W. and Jennifer Sims of East Amherst. The bridegroom’s parents are Stu and Ann Seedhouse of Cameron, Ont. The bride is a graduate of Williamsville North High School. She earned a degree in health science and education from SUNY Brockport and also earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from SUNY Buffalo State. The bride is a teaching assistant at Heim Middle School. The groom is a graduate of Sinclair Secondary School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from SUNY Brockport and also earned a master’s degree in medicinal chemistry from University at Buffalo. He is a researcher and pursuing a doctorate in pharmacology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. After a trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple will make their home in Williamsville.
