MORRISSEY - Shirley C. (nee Haungs)
Died peacefully at Mercy Hospital on October 22, 2014. Shirley was born on October 26, 1934 in Buffalo, NY and attended St Johns Catholic in Alden, finishing school in Lancaster. Shirley was predeceased in death by her loving husband Kenneth (Sonny) and is survived by children Cathy (Randy) Reigle, Ken (Verna), Sue (Keith) Rose, Jean (Bill) Clemens and Mike (Margaret). She also leaves behind nine grand children, six great-grandchildren; a number of loving family members; close friends and her beloved four legged 'kids'. Shirley touched many lives and will always be remembered for her beautiful "by ear" piano playing at Rushford Lake Conservation Club and at many other family and friends "get-togethers". She is up in Heaven dancing and playing cards with her loved ones now. Shirley donated her body to The University at Buffalo in the hopes that something could be found to help cure Epilepsy, which she dealt with most of her life. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Suite 200, Landover, MD 20785 in her name. Friends and family are invited to a Mass celebrating her life at Annunciation Church, Clinton St., Elma on Saturday, October 25th at 10 AM, with brunch following.
