Lisa Johnson and Patrick McPartland were married at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 23 in Classics V Banquet & Conference Center, Amherst, where a reception was held following the ceremony. Judge John Flynn, Tonawanda town justice, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Margaret A. and Roderick E. Johnson of Town of Tonawanda. The bridegroom’s parents are Robert and Kathleen McPartland of Buffalo. The bride is a graduate of Kenmore West High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Niagara University and also earned a master’s degree in business administration from Capella University. The bride is a senior clerk typist at the Erie County Department of Probation. The groom is a graduate of St. Joseph Collegiate Institute. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Bellarmine University and also earned a master’s degree in education from Canisius College. He is a staff photographer at Western New York Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. After a trip to New York City, the couple will make their home in Town of Tonawanda.
