Jillian Tschamler and Crosby Sommers were married at 2 p.m. July 19 in St. Michael’s Church, Buffalo. Guests gathered for a reception at Shea’s Performing Arts Center, Buffalo. Father William P. Poorten of Buffalo heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are John B. and Barbara Tschamler of Pendleton. The bridegroom’s parents are Andrew E. and Ann Sommers of Amherst. The bride is a graduate of Amherst Central High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health and society from University of Rochester and also earned a master’s degree in nursing from University of Virginia. The bride is a registered nurse at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. The groom is a graduate of Canisius High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from University of Rochester and also earned a juris doctor in law from University of Virginia. He is a science teacher at Liberty Avenue Middle School. After a trip to St. Lucia, the couple will make their home in New York.
