Bulletin Board for Oct. 24

The Buffalo Bandits will host the first-ever Buffalo Bandits Youth Indoor Lacrosse League for high school players this season. The league will feature eight teams comprising up to 20 high school-aged (grades 9-12) players per team. Games will be played under modified NLL rules and consist of two 20-minute halves with running time. Each team will have one practice and play six games, including playoffs, all at First Niagara Center.

Participating teams will also receive 40 tickets to a 2015 Bandits regular season home game and one autographed Bandits replica jersey, while each player will receive a reversible league jersey, a 2015 team yearbook, and a 2015 team photo.

In addition, each player on the championship-winning team will receive a championship T-shirt, championship hat, first-place medal, and the whole team will be recognized on the field during halftime of a Bandits home game. Each player on the second- and third-place teams will also receive medals.

The cost per team to register for the Buffalo Bandits Youth Indoor Lacrosse league is $2,500. Dates for the league are as follows: Saturday, Nov. 22 (practice), Sunday, Nov. 23, Saturday, Dec. 6, Sunday, Dec. 7, Sunday, Dec. 14 (first round playoffs), Saturday, Jan. 3 (semifinal playoffs) and Sunday, Jan. 4 (finals). ICE SKATING: Learn to skate classes for hockey players and figure skaters will be starting on Nov. 10–Jan. 16.
