Irving woman faces drug charges after traffic stop

HANOVER – An Irving woman was arrested by Chautauqua County sheriff deputies on drug and traffic charges after she was pulled over on Alleghany Road in the Town of Hanover about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Jessica L. Lawrie, 27, who was driving with a suspended license, was carrying a quantity of Suboxone strips, narcotic pills and prescription-controlled substances – all in improper containers – in her car, deputies said. Charges included two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and possession of controlled substances outside their original containers.
