Ducks' Boudreau refuses to take Sabres lightly

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- For the second day in row, Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau talked up the abilities of the Buffalo Sabres. He wants to make sure his team doesn't take the Sabres lightly tonight just nine days after shellacking them.

"This is the National Hockey League," Boudreau said after the morning skate in Honda Center. "There’s no easy games – ever. Sometimes you get lucky and catch a team on an off night, and I think that’s what happened the last time we played them. But I guarantee they’ll be ready to play tonight."

Boudreau is also cautious of any team from the Eastern Conference making its West Coast debut, like Buffalo is doing.

"Anytime a team comes out west – I’ve done some numbers – the first game, they’re all excited," Boudreau said. "The first game out west is going to be the toughest game. We expect no different from Buffalo tonight."
