Lackawanna man gets 27 months in federal prison for selling crack

A Lackawanna man was sentenced this week by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to 27 months in prison.

Kenneth Sweat, 26, had previously pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney John M. Alsup said Sweat sold 36 grams of crack to a confidential source working with the Drug Enforcement Administration and Lackawanna Police in February 2013.
