HarborCenter Tim Hortons opens Oct. 30; 716 follows shortly after

HarborCenter doesn't officially open until early November, but restaurants in the facility will begin service by the end of the month.

The two-story Tim Hortons will start selling coffee at 5 a.m. Oct. 30, a Thursday. A formal ceremony will be held later in the day with company executives and members of the hockey legend’s family unveiling a new statue of Horton across the street. The coffee shop will be located at the corner of Scott and Main streets.

716 Food & Sport, the two-story sports-themed restaurant at the corner of Scott and Washington streets, will start up on a limited basis the weekend of Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 to support sports events scheduled for the facility that weekend. It should open to the general public for full service by Nov. 7.
