GULIANO, Agnes (Panzarella)

GULIANO - Agnes Louise (nee Panzarella)
Passed away on August 25, 2014, after a period of declining health. Agnes was predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Daniel F. Guliano. She is survived by four children: Daniel L. Guliano, Karen Guliano-Spector, Susan Guliano-Hayes and Beth Thompson (Guliano); three grandchildren: Lisa Guliano-McGinty, Daniel A. Guliano and Michael Spector; three great-grandsons: Alexander Guliano-Lacourse, Ryan and James Spector and siblings Sara Panzarella and Rita Sofia (Panzarella). Born July 24, 1926 in Buffalo, NY, Agnes married Daniel in June, 1948. Together they raised their family in the Buffalo area until his work assignments brought them to Washington, DC and Atlanta, GA. Agnes and Dan retired in Raleigh, NC in 1985. Agnes was an avid Duplicate Bridge player, amassing Masters Points and was well known as a fierce scrabble player, showing no mercy to her grandchildren as she taught them the intricacies of the game. A private service will be held for family members. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the local hospice of your choice.
