WARSAW – A Franklinville man already held in connection with several Cattaraugus County church burglaries has been charged with committing another one in Arcade, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday.
Christopher P. Rose, 18, of West Branch Road, was arraigned Thursday in Arcade Town Court on charges of third-degree burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny. He allegedly broke a window July 14 to enter the Arcade Church of God on Countyline Road, where some money was stolen.
Investigator Aaron Anderson, who brought the charges, was assisted by deputies Brad McGinnis and Dave Richardson, Sgt. Eric Tamol, State Police and Cattaraugus County sheriff’s investigators. Bail for Rose, who already is held in Cattaraugus County Jail, was increased by $5,000.
