The Partnership for the Public Good named Howard Patton III manager of operations, development and communications, and Christine Meyers policy analyst.


Carla Marsh, director of memory care services at the McGuire Group’s Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda, was recognized as the 2014 volunteer of the year by the Alzheimer’s Association Western New York Chapter. Marsh has been involved with the association for more than five years and currently serves on committees for the Niagara County Walk to End Alzheimer’s and the Memories in the Making art program. She also hosts a number of fundraising events at Northgate to raise money for the association and serves as a liaison between the two.


Local Allstate agency owner Frank Giumpa was selected to serve on the Allstate Insurance Company New York Leadership Board as a member of the retention committee. The New York Leadership Board was established as a vehicle to give agency owners and financial specialists a voice on pertinent and topical insurance matters. Giumpa’s office is located at 10060 Main St., Clarence.

Koolatron Corp. will add 20,000 square feet to its facilities in Batavia this fall, nearly doubling its warehouse and shipping capacity. Koolatron makes and distributes 12-volt coolers and accessories, wine cellars, Pants Saver brand car mats, Michelin auto-care products, Coca-Cola personal fridges, Biteshield mosquito and pest repellant lines, along with rain barrels and garden décor products.

MVP Network Consulting, Buffalo, was awarded a $74,597 federal contract for computer equipment from the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command, Keyport, Wash.


Casullo’s Automotive of Kenmore has donated more than $10,000 to Heritage Centers, a local nonprofit that serves more than 3,000 individuals with disabilities each year.

Casullo’s “Car Inspection for a Cause” fundraiser runs through the entire year.
