Two multiple-family housing projects will be before the Planning Board on Wednesday.

The board will consider a request to approve a development plan for the Montabaur Heights project at the Brothers of Mercy campus at 10470 Bergtold Road.

Action also is requested, under the State Environmental Quality Review Act, on the Wehrle Dome Apartments project at 8230 Wehrle Drive.

A board work session begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by the regular meeting at 7:30, in Town Hall, One Town Place.

This week:

• A Community Day and Open House will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Clarence Senior Center, 4600 Thompson Road. Admission is free and there will be complementary hot dogs and beverages.

For children, there will be face painting and crafts from 3 to 6 p.m. Senior Center class demonstrations begin at 3:45. Lake Effect Harmony, an all-woman a cappella chorus, will perform at 6.

• Clarence Hollow Farmers’ Market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 10717 Main St., between Ransom and Salt roads. Weekly features include entertainment, an animal rescue group, a business and a community organization, and a local winery.
