Bills call off morning practice prior to Pittsburgh trip

The threat of inclement weather has forced the Buffalo Bills to cancel this morning's 8 a.m. practice at St. John Fisher College. Instead, the team is holding a brief walk-through that is closed to the public.

Afterward, the Bills will depart for the airport and a trip to Pittsburgh. The Bills and Steelers will hold joint practices the next two days at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa.

The teams practice at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday and 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

For fans making the trip from Western New York, here are the directions:

Take Interstate 79 south to its junction with I-76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, at gate 28 (old gate 3) Cranberry/Perry Highway. Take I-76 east to exit 67 (old exit 7) Irwin/North Huntingdon, bear right at the exit ramp and take U.S. Route 30 East 15 miles. At the stop light at Saint Vincent Drive, turn left onto Fraser Purchase Road (unmarked), go 1/2 mile, and turn left onto campus.

Latrobe is about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, so expect a drive of a little more than four hours.
