Republicans complain, but offer no solutions
More anti-Obama rants in the paper. There’s a lot the Republicans don’t like, but they still don’t have a better idea. Foreign policy wise, they hate the president’s handling of Ukraine, the Gaza Strip, Iraq, Syria, etc., but they have nothing better to offer. It’s amazing how the “we must never forget” people forgot about Osama bin Laden.
Sens. Lindsey Graham and John McCain tried. They suggested we should stay in Iraq like we have in Germany and Japan. That tested badly. Then they suggested we should send arms to the Syria and later Ukraine. The American people were not fond of the idea of outfitting another Taliban or cranking up the Cold War. So the GOP is left with booing, hissing and shouting epithets, like the audience at a wrestling match.
There’s a reason why Benghazi and Fast and Furious have never gotten beyond right-wing conspiracy theories. There’s nothing to them.
