CCS Oncology appointed Dr. Kandala K. Chary chief medical officer to oversee the clinical aspects of all divisions of CCS Oncology. Chary founded Century Medical Associates and was instrumental in the integration of CCS Oncology and Century Medical Associates. He is a board certified medical oncologist who received his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo.

Literacy New York Buffalo-Niagara appointed Tara Vogel executive director. Vogel previously served as vice president at Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Buffalo. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Brockport and a master’s degree from Daemen College.

The Northstar Cos. named Ann Granville senior vice president, client relations. Granville was previously vice president, client relations. She has been with the Cheektowaga debt collection company for 12 years.

Webster Szanyi named Andrew O. Miller a partner with the law firm. Miller earned his J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Denison University.

Independent Health appointed Regis Bernardi national sales director, pharmacy benefit dimensions. Bernardi was an executive sales consultant for Novartis Corp. Bernardi has a bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University.

Daemen College appointed Irene Holohan-Moyer registrar. Holohan-Moyer was director of enrollment systems support for HUB (the student information system) at the University at Buffalo. She holds a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree, both from UB.

Nussbaumer and Clarke, Engineers and Surveyors named Deanne L. Pericak project engineer, land development, Melanie Stein project engineer, civil engineering and Daniel D. Bautz designer, land development. Pericak earned her master’s degree from Portland State University and bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. Stein graduated from the University at Buffalo with a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree. Bautz graduated from Broome Community College.

PLS 3rd Learning promoted Suzanne Badgley to director of marketing and Lindsey Constantino to senior marketing designer. Badgley is a graduate of the University at Buffalo. She had been a media director at EMA before joining the firm. Constantino is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology.

AAA Car Care Plus Operations named Brian Dadswell manager for the automotive repair and maintenance facility located at 8120 Main St., Clarence. Dadswell was compliance manager for Supplemental Health Care in Buffalo. He attended Medaille College.

National Grid named Larry Cobado, lead project manager of complex construction in Buffalo. Cobado, a graduate of Canisius College and the University at Buffalo, joins the company after a 27-year career with Verizon. He is a director on the board of the Graycliff Conservancy and an active member of the Project Management Institute of Buffalo.

ABC-Amega appointed Nick Calaraco senior programmer analyst. Calarco was with Algonquin Studios as a senior developer, where he helped to create ABC’s software. He graduated from SUNY Fredonia. Also, the firm named Megan Latshaw marketing specialist. Latshaw, former marketing coordinator for Budget Rent A Car of Buffalo, received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Buffalo State and a master’s degree from St. Bonaventure University.

Eric Mower + Associates named Dorothy Bleuer assistant media planner/buyer. Bleuer graduated from Medaille College.

Marketing Technologies of WNY appointed Jim Breidenstein vice president for digital marketing services. Breidenstein was the director of graphic and Web design at WebArt Designs.

DiVal Safety Equipment, a distributor of safety & industrial supplies, promoted Jeannine Bethin to supervisor of the customer care-support services team. Bethin, most recently a customer care representative, joined the company in 2004. She is a University at Buffalo graduate.

Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Alumni Association elected Michael Olear chairperson. Olear is the lead broker of the Olear Team/MJ Peterson Real Estate. Other officers: Vice chairperson, Mary Jezioro, vice president, marketing, SHIELD Security Systems; secretary, Lisa Stephanie, president, TripleTrack HR Partners; and treasurer, Brian Laible, managing partner, Landmark Wealth Management.

The Estate Analysts of Western New York elected Victoria D’Angelo president of its board. D’Angelo is special counsel at Damon Morey.
