The Common Council will consider a land swap with the Tonawanda School District when it meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in City Hall, 200 Niagara St.

A resolution sponsored by 4th Ward Alderwoman Jenna Koch proposes exchanging four acres of city-owned land on Little League Drive for 4.3 acres at the old Clint Small Stadium on Main Street.

The Little League Drive land is part of 17 acres on which 56 single-family homes were proposed to be built, but those plans have been abandoned. School district officials have said they would use the land as additional practice field space. An informal session begins at 6.
