The 10th Annual Black Rock & Riverside Tour of Gardens, including 50 gardens, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The Starry Night Garden Tour, featuring 16 illuminated gardens, runs from 8 to 10 that evening. Vibrant Batavia and the Landmark Society of Genesee County Home and Garden Tour will take place from noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Eleven gardens will be on the tour. Refreshments will be served. Some homeowners also will open their first floors. Tickets are $20 and will be available Saturday at the Historic Batavia Cemetery, which the tour benefits. Orchard Park Garden Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday for signups and refreshments in Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 4369 S. Buffalo St. At 12:30 p.m., Judy Tucholski-Zon, a National Garden Club master flower show judge and a student of Ikebana for 18 years, will present “Ikebana – a Japanese Flower Design.” A business meeting will follow.


South Town Gardeners will meet at 9:30 a.m. next Friday at the Burchfield Nature & Art Center, 2001 Union Road, West Seneca, for a program on cooking with herbs. Guests and new members welcome. No gardening experience necessary. For information, call 668-0209.
