June 30, 1959: Lining up at Western Savings Bank

Folks were getting ready to hand over their hard-earned cash at the main office of Western Savings Bank, Main and Court streets.

The demolished building stood where CVS now stands, and Western Savings Bank was eventually merged into Buffalo Savings Bank, which became Goldome Bank, which was bought out by KeyBank.
