Executive AirShare, a fractional aircraft ownership company offering private flights out of Western New York, is growing its local jet fleet.
Executive AirShare announced the addition of a Learjet 45XR aircraft to its Great Lakes/Mid Atlantic fleet, which serves Buffalo and Southern Ontario.
The nine-passenger jet will be stationed and available to shareowners at Buffalo Niagara International Airport beginning this week, offering non-stop business and leisure trips to Texas, Colorado, Florida and the Caribbean.
It also operates two smaller, four-passenger jets out of Buffalo.
The Kansas City, Mo.-based company said it has doubled in size since beginning operations in Western New York in 2010. It cited a growth in regional customers who requested planes with a larger capacity capable of traveling to additional destinations as the reason for the expansion.
Executive AirShare operates from a 8,300-square-foot private aviation terminal and 53,000-square-foot hangar space at Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
