Holley teen ‘satisfactory’ after roll-over crash

An 18-year-old Holley woman is in satisfactory condition after the car she was driving went off the road, hit a ditch, went airborne, and turned over several times before landing on its roof this morning, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Lauren A. Hennekey was northbound in the 1000 block of Monroe-Orleans County Line Road, just north of Kenmore Road, in Kendall when she lost control and crossed the center line shortly after 6 a.m. She was ejected from 1997 Honda sedan, said Sheriff Scott D. Hess.

Hennekey, who was alone in the car, was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

While the investigation is continuing, Hess speeding appeared to be a factor in the crash and charges are pending.
