Perry woman arrested for driving on drugs and other counts

WARSAW – A 40-year-old Perry woman was arrested on charges of felony driving under the influence of drugs and Leandra’s law for having three young daughters in her car as she was allegedly driving impaired by drugs across hazard markings repeatedly on State Route 39 until she was stopped on Chapman Avenue in Castile by Wyoming County Sheriff’s Sgt. Colin Reagan and Deputy Aaron Chase about 9:10 p.m. Sunday.

Angela M. Jones was allegedly driving illegally while under the influence of a central nervous system depressant. She was also charged with driving across hazard markings, having unapproved stickers on her car, having inadequate taillights, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and aggravated unlicensed driving. Briefly jailed, she facing Castile Town Court proceedings June 16.
