Medaille College presented Gayle Eagan, a partner at Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, the Father Medaille Award for Service and Citizenship. The award is given to an alumnus who exemplifies the Medaille College founder’s spirit of serving others. Eagan is a co-founder of Canopy of Neighbors, an organization that assists people age 62 or over to remain in their homes as they age. She recently completed serving 10 years as a member of the board of directors of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo and is a past president of Legal Services for the Elderly, Disabled or Disadvantaged of WNY.


Goldberg Segalla partner Cheryl A. Possenti was named a 2014 Client Choice Awards winner. The Client Choice Awards were established in 2005 to recognize law firms and partners around the world for excellent client service. The awards are jointly presented by the International Law Office and Lexology and only accept nominations from corporate counsel.


M&T Bank promoted Mark J. Oldfield to administrative vice president. Oldfield, with the bank for four years, is a University of Lancaster graduate.

A Niagara University recruitment poster earned a Silver Award as part of the 29th annual Educational Advertising Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report. The poster, bearing the university’s trademark “Education That Makes a Difference” tagline, was designed by TWG Plus.


Applied Fabric Technologies, Orchard Park, was awarded a $78,221 federal contract and a $42,634 federal contract for oil containment booms from the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command, Seal Beach, Calif.
