McGuire Development appointed Thomas Keller director of leasing and Paul Dueringer portfolio manager. Keller has 30 years of portfolio leasing experience in Western and upstate New York, southern Illinois and southern Indiana. Dueringer has 15 years of commercial sales and leasing experience.


Mohawk Global Trade Advisors promoted Jim Trubits to vice president. Trubits is a licensed customs broker, certified customs specialist and certified global business professional. He is a graduate of Buffalo State College.


Evans Bank appointed William Bush, Rose Marie May, Jeffrey Sentiff and Robert Smith IV assistant vice presidents. Bush joined the bank in September 2012 as branch manager of the Lancaster office and moved to the Hamburg branch in 2013. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina. May, with the bank since July 2012, was most recently branch manager of the Derby office. She is a Bryant & Stratton College graduate. Sentiff, a Buffalo State College graduate, joined Evans in 2012 as branch manager of the Williamsville office. Smith, who served as a commercial loan officer at the bank since November 2011, earned his MBA from Loyola College.

Rand & Jones Enterprises Co., Buffalo, was awarded a contract federal contract, valued at up to $8 million, for completion of minor, noncomplex construction projects requiring minimum design by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory Specialized Acquisition and Operational Contracting Branch, Rome, N.Y.


Buffalo-based KR Communications was recently awarded the annual DIRECTV Dealer of the Year Award after experiencing record growth in both the residential and commercial departments in 2013. KR Communications was founded in 1996 and serves the satellite TV and Internet industry. It employs more than 70 people and has offices in Olean, Elmira, Syracuse, Rochester and Erie, Pa.
