Sunny respite is lead-in to a rainy week

Sunny weather returns Sunday, after the clouds were expected to move out overnight.

But temperatures are still below normal, with today’s high in the mid-50s.

“We’re taking what we can get this season,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Bill Hibbert. “Right now it should be in the low 60s.”

The bright weather should continue Monday, when it will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 50s.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Typical April weather returns, with showers likely overnight and into Tuesday and Wednesday. There’s also a chance of rain the rest of the week.
