ABC-Amega appointed Michael Perricone programmer analyst. Perricone is a graduate of the University at Buffalo. He was most recently a software engineer at Algonquin Studios.


The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners honored Jennifer Cooper with the chapter’s Member of the Year Small Business Award. Daemen College associate professor and master of social work program director Isiah Marshall was selected as a Health Leadership Fellow by the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York.

Naylon III of the Financial Architects was selected as one of 67 financial planners for the seventh consecutive year to join the 2014 Select Member Group of Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp./Sagemark Consulting as part of the firm’s Private Wealth Services Program, which focuses on clients in the high net worth market.

Life Safety Engineered Systems, Buffalo, was awarded a $17,245 federal contract for the annual fire detection, alarm and suppression system testing services at the Federal Detention Center from the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons, Seattle. The Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village was chosen to participate in the 2014 Heritage Preservation Conservation Assessment Program. The program, supported through a cooperative agreement with the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services, provides funds for professional conservation and preservation specialists to identify the conservation needs of collections and historic buildings, and recommend ways to correctly improve collections and building conditions.
