Police arrest drug suspect who served prison term for death of girl

A 39-year-old Timon Street man who spent more than 10 years in state prison on a manslaughter conviction for the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old Buffalo girl 21 years ago, was arrested near his home Thursday evening for allegedly having crack cocaine packaged for sale.

Anthony Neasman was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

In December 1994 Neasman was sentenced in Erie County Court for the February 1993 fatal shooting of an Emerson High School freshman girl caught in the crossfire at a Genesee Street restaurant. Neasman also had arrests for selling crack cocaine in Buffalo as a teenager in the early 1990s.
