Lockport woman accused of identity theft

State Police have charged Chelsie T. Bogdan, 20, of Lockport with felony second-degree identity theft and petit larceny.

A state police investigation found that Bogdan had allegedly made more than $800 in unauthorized online purchases using the credit card of a person she knows, but without the person’s permission.

Bogdan was arrested on a warrant on Friday and arraigned in the Town of Lockport Court. She was remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
