Drum and bugle corps units lined up for Hall of Fame concert

NORTH TONAWANDA – Ten drum and bugle corps units will take the stage Saturday in Sikora Post 1322, American Legion, 950 Payne Ave., during the Bugler’s Hall of Fame Concert.

The program, which starts at 1 p.m., is sponsored by the Bugler’s Hall of Fame and Batavia-based Ghost Riders Drum and Bugle Corps, which won the First Place World Title in the Mini Corps competition last Labor Day in the Drum Corps Associates World Championships in Annapolis, Md.

Other drum corps units performing include Niagara Militaries, Hamburg Kingsmen, Preston Scout House of Canada, Tri Valley Brass, Cadre Blue, Cadre Red, Saint Joseph’s of Batavia, the Hitmen and St. Joe’s Brass Ensemble.

There also will be individual soloists, duets, trios, quartets and mixed ensembles, including performances by current members of the Bugler’s Hall of Fame. Doors open at noon. Tickets are $10. Food and refreshments will be served all day.
