The Sabres’ Week Ahead

Tuesday – New Jersey: Martin Brodeur and Sean Avery stepped up their rivalry last week, with the goalie mocking Avery’s dancing and Avery blasting Brodeur’s marriage history.

Thursday – At St. Louis: I’ll find it extremely amusing if the Blues decide to start Brian Elliott rather than Ryan Miller. They could start 58-year-old Mike Liut and they’ll win.

Friday – At Detroit: Henrik Zetterberg is the Red Wings’ leading scorer. No surprise there, until you consider he’s played just 45 of the team’s 74 games this season.

Next Sunday – At Philadelphia: If this is your big event on that day’s calendar, may I politely suggest you change it to Wrestlemania XXX? That will be real sports entertainment.
