He didn’t run at the combine because of a tweaked hamstring. … First-team All-American and a Butkus Award finalist as the nation’s best linebacker as a junior. Started 29 games and played in 39 in his three years in Columbus. … A big-time playmaker, Shazier made 39.5 tackles for loss the past two seasons. As evidenced by his 30 time, has excellent speed and range to play in coverage. Has “three-down” potential, which is in demand in today’s NFL.
