A 40-year-old Clarence woman was arrested on Sunday after Erie County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an “unwelcome guest” call at her residence.

Robin Kurzel was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and a hypodermic instrument. She was also charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and possessing a controlled substance outside the original container.

Police said Deputies James Flowers and Dennis Orlowski found alleged heroin and drug paraphernalia in plain view after responding to a call of an unwelcome guest at the residence at 7:22 a.m..

Patrick Lee, 48, of Amherst, was also taken into custody at the same time because he was wanted on a warrant from Buffalo City Court, police said. Deputies did not say what Lee was accused of in the Buffalo warrant.
