Business people: Steve Szubinski named president of PCA Technology Group

PCA Technology Group named Steve Szubinski president. Szubinski, a partner with the firm since its founding in 1989, earned an MBA at the University at Buffalo. He is also a graduate of both the High-Tech Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Program and the Emerging Entrepreneurship Program at the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University at Buffalo.

Alliance Advisory Group promoted Samantha Clark to senior vice president of career development for the company’s global operations. Clark is a graduate of the University at Buffalo and earned her Chartered Leadership Fellow certification from the American College.

Lumsden & McCormick promoted Seth D. Hennard and Sarah M. Hopkins to principals. Hennard, a CPA, CGFM, has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University at Buffalo. Hopkins, a CPA, graduated from Daemen College.

Deloitte & Touche promoted Thomas Tehan to partner. Tehan is a CPA and joined the firm in September 2000. He is a graduate of Geneseo State College. Also, the firm promoted Joseph Kick to audit senior manager. Kick joined the firm in September 2005. He is a CPA and is a graduate of Canisius College.

Canisius College appointed Alex M. Brown grants and endowment fund accountant. Brown, a CPA, will manage the college’s endowment and restricted fund accounting. Previously, Brown was supervisor of the Tax Advisory Group at Dopkins & Company. She is a Canisius College graduate.

M&T Bank promoted Nancy L. Pusatier to group vice president, where she is responsible for managing employee relations. Pusatier is a University at Buffalo graduate and a 2013 graduate of the Leadership Buffalo program. Also, the bank promoted Harish A. Holla to senior vice president in the bank’s regulatory affairs and capital adequacy group. Holla received a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, a master of science from Marquette University, and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.

Hodgson Russ promoted Marissa A. Coheley and Reetuparna Dutta to senior associates. Coheley, who joined the firm in 2010, graduated from the University at Buffalo and obtained her JD from UB School of Law. Dutta, who joined the firm in 2008, graduated from Dartmouth College and obtained her J.D. from George Washington University Law School. The firm also named Jeffrey B. Same an associate in the law firm. Same graduated from St. John Fisher College and earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law.

Brain and Spine Center, InvisionHealth welcomed Dr. Tobias A. Mattei. Mattei earned his MD from the University of São Paulo and completed his neurosurgery residency training at the Institute of Neurology of Curitiba, where he was appointed chief-resident.

The Health Foundation for Western and Central New York appointed Monica T. Brown program officer in its Buffalo office and promoted Lynn Alexander to grants and events manager. Brown graduated from SUNY Buffalo State and Erie Community College. Alexander joined the Health Foundation as its program assistant in 2011.

The Travel Team/American Express appointed Cheryl J. Zanghi director of sales. Zanghi previously was employed by Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside and as director of National Sales for Buffalo Niagara Convention & Victors Bureau she was the founder and chair of the Buffalo Green Hospitality Initiative.

Brisbane Consulting Group promoted Thomas Schwartz to senior consultant. A a member of the Brisbane valuation team, Schwartz is responsible for valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support services. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher College.

Hurwitz & Fine named Kinsey A. O’Brien an associate with the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group. O’Brien received her J.D. at the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Jamestown Savings Bank Arena promoted Craig Hinderleider to assistant general manager. Hinderleider, a certified ice technician is a Fredonia State College graduate.
