East Side man robbed at gunpoint as he waits for bus

A Dartmouth Avenue man said he was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night as he waited at a bus stop in the city’s Grider neighborhood, Buffalo police reported.

The victim said he was waiting for the bus at 9:25 p.m. at the corner of East Delavan Avenue and Grider Street when two men approached him. One was armed with a handgun and they demanded money.

The victim told Northeast district officers that he handed over $700 before the robbers ran away down East Delavan. Police don’t have a good description of the robbers.
