Gregg A. Ross, owned Fiber Friends Carpet and Upholstery

Nov. 25, 1945 – Feb. 15, 2014

LEWISTON – Gregg A. Ross, a local businessman, died Saturday when he was stricken in his Lewiston home after a long illness. He was 68.

Born in Lewiston, he was a 1964 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School.

Mr. Ross owned and operated Fiber Friends Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning from 1974 until he retired last year. He and his wife also operated Lewiston Tax Service, an income tax preparation service, since 1979.

An ordained minister in the Jehovah’s Witnesses for nearly 50 years, he had been an elder in the Ransomville Congregation for 41 years and conducted countless Bible studies.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, the former Carol DeLorenzo, and a brother, David G.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7375 Nash Road, Wheatfield.
