Here comes the snow again, along with some frigid temperatures

While the snow machine cranked up again this morning throughout Western New York, no major snowstorms are expected this week, as this unrelenting winter continues with temperatures dropping to the teens and single digits throughout the week.

“It’s back to February weather, cold with a chance of snow,” National Weather Service meteorologist Dan Kelly said this morning.

Forecasters were calling for just over a half inch of snow today in Buffalo, with a high of 1 to 3 inches in northern Niagara and Orleans counties.

The forecast for the rest of the week calls for a chance of snow every day, with overnight low temperatures of 9, 5 and 2 degrees Tuesday through Thursday nights and daytime highs of 12, 14 and 16 degrees for Wednesday through Friday.
