There will be three seats to fill in this year’s West Seneca School Board elections.

Terms are expiring for Janice E. Dalbo, Carol A. Jarczyk and Rodney Montgomery.

Nominating petitions are due in the district clerk’s office by 5 p.m. April 21. Election day is May 20.

Also this week:

• Blessed John XXIII Parish will hold its annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at One Arcade St. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 7 to 12; children 6 and younger eat for free. Takeout also is available. Various raffles will be held, as well as a baked goods sale.

• The Town Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers at Town Hall, 1250 Union Road.

• A meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers at Town Hall.

• The 2014-15 budget of the West Seneca School District will be presented during a School Board work session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in room 200 at West Elementary School, 1397 Orchard Park Road.

• The Kiwanis Club of West Seneca is hosting a fundraiser from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday in The Chicken Coop, 299 Leydecker Road, with live music by Strictly Hip. The club has numerous programs supporting local students. Tickets are $12 each; call 771-0799 or e-mail

• Queen of Heaven Church, 4220 Seneca St., is holding its Spring Dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday. Hit-n-Run will be performing. Tickets are $20 each presale; eight tickets reserves a table. For more information, call 675-2287.
