The Buffalo Niagara Film Festival is seeking people with memories of “The Natural” – extras, crew, etc. – to take part in a new documentary on the film’s 30th anniversary. Please see for details.

The festival has extended the deadline for film submissions until Jan. 31. Also, the festival seeks volunteers and interns for April events. Open auditions for the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday in St. John’s Grace Episcopal Church, 51 Colonial Circle. Auditions are open to all men ages 18 and over. Artpark is holding auditions for the July 30 to Aug. 8 production of “Mary Poppins.” All roles are being sought, including one boy and one girl ages 9-11. Auditions will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Niagara University Annex, 6001 Porter Road, Niagara Falls. A one-minute song in the style of show should be prepared. Open auditions for Amherst Teen Idol will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 1 in the Boulevard Mall Food Court.
